Tiny Space turned Luxury Retreat

Looking to make decorative changes to your affectionately named postage stamp or making a move that makes your old duds look like the Spelling Mansion and want to feel as though your tiny house is still luxury living? Not a problem. I get it. Sometimes quaint and cozy spaces are the ones that pack the most punch and are the easiest to pull together because of their size.

Don’t give up hope on creating a space that looks like it belongs on the cover of Elle Décor. With a few simple tips and inspiration pieces I can help you get the New York loft look-a-like and nobody will be able to tell the difference.

  1. Start yourself off with a subtle, neutral palette that will create a backdrop for all of the future pieces to be introduced into. A cool gray like Sherwin Williams – Rhinestone (SW7656) is a nice jumping off point and how sassy is that name?

  2. Find statement pieces that look luxe and regal. Marble topped coffee or side tables paired with natural hides (you can go with Faux) either in floorcoverings or fabrics create a stately feeling even if you didn’t pay top dollar. (West Elm sells beautiful tables featuring marble accents at easy-to-swallow prices) See below for image.

  3. Use minimalistic notions when placing furniture and accessories to create that curated look.

  4. To get more bang for your buck – try shopping at an auction house or consignment store. Homeowners are always selling previously owned gems this way whilst completing renovations of their own – I know, I’ve witnessed it.

Inquire about above pieces.
